Info Needed
In the fall of 2006, Gunnar Serck Hanssen, FUHS' first foreign exchange student,
returned for a visit. The only photo have of that is the one that was in
the paper online. The image is low resolution for the Internet, so it wouldn't
be good for publishing. Does anyone have a good-quality image of this event?

FUHS Basketball League Champions
Here's a question to which I bet some alum knows the answer, and can save
me a day at the library trying to find it.
On the north wall of the FUHS main gym there currently are three banners
bearing the years of FUHS League Champion basketball teams. Each banner contains
nine years. The first banner ends with 1933, the second begins with 1959.
Given that the team wins league two or three times a decade, it struck me
as odd that for 25 years they didn't win at all. Seems like there should
have been about 7 or 8 league champs during that time--OR is it possible
a banner is missing?
I suspect the banner may have fallen and never was replaced. Any alum remember
seeing a banner with basketball league champs between 1933 and 1959--or maybe
even played on a league champion basketball team during that era? Or perhaps
someone has easy access to a complete list of league basketball champions?
Please contact Larry Creeden (the admin for the current FUHS basketball team
website) at
www.FUHSbasketball.com. Any help
would be appreciated.
