Beverli Jinn (aka Travis Alan Haskins) - Class of 1952

Beverli graduated from FUHS in 1952. She graduated from UCLA with a BA in English, spent two years in the Navy, went back to school at Whittier College to work on qualifying for teaching credentials, and began her teaching career in 1960. She then earned her MA in English from Long Beach State University. In 1990 she retired from teaching in order to devote herself to a new career: writing. She has published three books: Darin: A Soulprint, After Darin, and 1-800-TheLord, the first two under the name of Travis A. Haskins. She has just completed her fourth book, the sequel to 1-800-TheLord. The two books, to be published in hardback under the title Midrash, are a reworking of the mythology of the first five books of the Old Testament.
