Jewel M. (Saville) Gammill - Class of 1949

I lived in Fullerton from 1932 to 1950. Attended Ford School, Wilshire Junior High School. My father, Charles Cecil Saville, was head janitor at Ford School, and Wilshire Junior High until his retirement in 1963. I married in 1950, have 3 children, 6 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren. My husband was in the US Navy Reserve Active Duty for 20 years. I was very active in the churches we attended as we moved 4 times in the 20 years. Taught Sunday School. Taught for 3 years in a Christian school. Operated a day care in my home for 10 years. Helped raise my grandchildren. I finished my junior year at Fullerton High and then graduated from Long Beach Christian School, in Long Beach, CA. I attended Fullerton Junior College for one semester and then married, Curtis Gammill Jr. We have been married 50 years.
